ABOUT GREAT DANES
Great Dane is the National Dog of Germany. It is an ancient breed well
known for its wonderful height and elegance. Its impressive size makes
it a good watch dog. The original Danes were heavier in built and were
used for boar hunting. They resembled the mastiff.
Most Danes are friendly by nature and hence make good companions.
They are fond of children.
They may be Fawn, Brindle, Harlequin, Black, Blue, Merle or Boston in
colour. The average male Dane should be at least between 45-55 kg in
weight and 32 - 34 inches in height. Bitches are generally shorter by
two inches at the shoulder level.
They are hence appropriately nicknamed "The Apollo of Dogs".
Our puppies come occasionally. They are bred
with love and care for a loving family. We care for our puppies and
their future. We provide long term support for them and their well -
being. They will grow up to be outstanding specimens of their breed, if
only you take the time and efforts to follow the simple guidelines that
we provide.
You may get puppies for a lesser cost but you ultimately get only what
you pay for. Hence, kindly do not bargain with us.
